Malaria

Malaria is a tropical disease that is contracted through the bite of a mosquito carrying the disease. Depending on the destination of your next trip, your pharmacist will assess whether or not malaria is present in the country you are visiting. The pharmacist will then make the necessary recommendations to reduce your exposure to these mosquitoes and, depending on various conditions, prescribe treatment to prevent the disease.
