Trulicity 4.5mg inj.auto

This medication is typically used to control blood sugar levels in people with diabetes. Even though you may not feel its effects, this medication takes effect within a few hours.

Instructions

This product must be injected under the skin (subcutaneously), according to the technique you were shown. Be sure to choose a different injection site each time.

This medication is typically used only once a week. However, your pharmacist may have suggested a different schedule that is more appropriate for you. It must be used regularly and continuously to maintain its beneficial effects. Be sure to keep an adequate supply on hand.

Like all individuals with diabetes, you should monitor your blood sugar levels regularly using the appropriate device. Dispose of used syringes and needles safely. Your pharmacist can tell you the best way to do this.

If you remember missing a dose and there are at least 3 days until the next scheduled dose, the injection should be administered as soon as possible, then continue with the next scheduled dose as planned. If less than 3 days remain before the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. This medication may be taken with or without food.
