1- The Contest

The “Aveeno-Familiplus” Contest is being held by Familiprix Inc. The Contest takes place in participating Familiprix stores from February 9, 2023, at 9 a.m. to February 15, 2023, at 9 p.m. The draw will take place on February 17, 2023, at 10:30 a.m.

2- Entry

To enter the Contest with an eligible transaction

To enter, the participant must be a member in good standing of the Familiplus program and must make at least one (1) eligible transaction during the Contest period in a participating Familiprix store. Each qualifying transaction gives a new entry into the draw. A transaction is considered eligible if at least one (1) Familiplus point has been accumulated and/or redeemed during the purchase.

To enter the Contest without making an eligible transaction, the participant must:

• Be registered in the Familiplus Program or join it for free either in person at a participating store, or on the “My Familiplus” mobile application, or on the Familiplus website (https://www.familiprix.com/fr/familiplus).
• Write a legible, handwritten letter of at least 150 words explaining why you would like to win. Your letter must include your full contact information: your first name, last name, address including postal code, telephone number including area code, your email address, your age and your Familiplus membership card number. Sign and mail your letter in an envelope with sufficient postage to: “Aveeno-Familiplus” Contest, 6000 rue Armand-Viau, Quebec City, Quebec, G2C 2C5, postmarked no later than February 15, 2023 to be eligible. You will automatically be entered into the draw once your letter has been validated. Only one mail entry per Familiplus member will be accepted.

3- Prize

Prize description: 25,000 Familiplus points (a value of $250).
Number of winners: 1 winner (a value of $250).

4- Draw

A random draw will be held on February 17, 2023, at 10:30 a.m., at 6000 rue Armand-Viau, Quebec City, in the presence of Familiprix Inc. representatives, from all eligible transactions during the Contest period. The odds of being selected for the prize depend on the number of eligible transactions recorded during the Contest period.

All residents of Quebec and New Brunswick aged 18 and over can enter the Contest, with the exception of employees and people living in the same household with employees of Familiprix pharmacies, Familiprix Inc., its agents, and its advertising and promotion agencies.

5- Clamming the prize

Winners will be contacted by phone or email. If a winner does not respond within seven (7) days, the draw will be retaken.

Before being declared a winner, the prize winner will be required to sign a “Declaration and Release of Liability Form” and correctly answer the following skill-testing question: 5 x 2 + 8 – 3 = ?.

The "Declaration and Release of Liability Form" releases the prize providers, the Contest organization and all of their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns from any and all liability arising from the Contest, acceptance or use of a prize.

The winner must complete the “Declaration and Liability Release Form” sent by email and must return it within 14 days of sending, failing which the prize could be forfeited.

The prize will be shipped to the winner within fourteen (14) days of the date of receipt of the “Declaration and Liability Release Form”. The delivery time may vary slightly depending on the carrier's delivery times.

6- Exclusion

Entrants who have not complied with these Official Rules will be disqualified. The prize will only be awarded to a verified winner. The prize is not transferable and must be accepted as awarded and no substitutions will be permitted. By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by the Official Rules and the judges' decisions which are final and binding in all aspects of this Contest. The organizer reserves the right to cancel or modify this Contest at any time, subject to the approval of the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux, without providing notice or by providing notice in the major regional newspapers, if any factor whatsoever compromises the good conduct of this Contest as specified in these Rules. No correspondence will be entered into with the entrants, with the exception of the winner who will be contacted by telephone or email. 

Participants release Familiprix Inc. from any liability or loss arising from, or resulting in any way from the prize, in particular due to any problem, breakdown, technical malfunction of a network line, telephone line, online computer system, cash register system, software, server, provider, email, browser, or technical malfunction that may occur, including, but not limited to, a problem with the transmission or non-transmission of an email sent to a winner, regardless of the cause or a problem routing the phone call.

Familiprix Inc. is not responsible for erroneous or inaccurate information on the entry form, whether caused by users of the website or by the equipment and/or programs associated with or used by the sponsor or organizer, or by a technical or human error which could have occurred during the course of the latter, including during the processing of the registration forms.

This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws. Any dispute regarding the organization or conduct of a promotional Contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for resolution. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the Régie only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

The decisions of the organization responsible to oversee the Contest are final and without appeal. All participants agree to follow these Rules. By accepting their prize, the winner authorizes Familiprix Inc. to the use of their name or photograph for advertising purposes relating to this Contest without compensation, and releases Familiprix Inc. of any responsibility.
